First off back in the late 80s early 90s dotcoms were all the rage where anyone and everyone from mere mortals to high powered blue chip professionals were making big bucks from the Dot Com era.

Then all too soon came the big bang crash in the mid to late 90s where it demolished nearly everyone who did not build a solid business foundation from the boom times. Even some of those who did build solid foundations from the boom period were taken down if cash flow was really tight.

However now in 2007 Names are making a comeback and what a comeback it is for example porn.com fetched $9.5 million dollars not so long ago. To see that effect just have a look at some of these names that are being auctioned through GoDaddyAuctions.

For example here are a couple of them 2livemydream.com at $45,000.00 myspaceresorts at $50,000.00 mantube.tv at $50,000.00. Godaddy even has one that is supposed to be valued from $50,000 but they are looking for wait for it! Yes an unbelievable $8,000,000.00 is what they are hoping to get for it.

If you don't believe me you can go to youtube and just type in the search bar "Domain Names for Sale" and you will see what I mean. This is genuine as you can see I have not provided any links even if they were allowed.

So I don't want to hear anything about Domain names not coming back Big Time because from the research that I have done recently the Dot Com Boom is coming back and this time for much bigger bucks.

It seems a bit strange to me as the dollar is nearly at an all time low yet domain names appear to be going through the roof again.

I have checked out some of the Top Auction sites and most of them appear to be on the rise again after a long period of levelling off.
