When I built my first, and to date, only website, I thought I HAD the best website builder, because I found one I could sorta-kinda figure out how to use. I'm so technically challenged that even adding a single element to a page would literally take me hours to complete. No wonder I gave up after just one site.
'Course I couldn't afford some of the website builders that claimed they were the best; I was, after all, just starting out online and I simply didn't have much money to invest in tools and such. And then I discovered blogs. Soooo much easier than building a web site! Then there were Squidoo lenses, and Hubpages, and I thought I might be able to get away with never having to build a 'real' website again.
But the deeper I got involved with internet marketing, the more I realized that if I ever wanted to take my business to the next level, if I wanted people to really take me seriously, I needed an honest-to-goodness website. If I wanted to promote an affiliate product, I needed a landing page. If I wanted to build a mailing list, I needed a squeeze page. And to have any of those, I needed the best website builder I could find and I also needed it to be the most affordable. (Read: free)
So my quest began. I must've downloaded just about every free website builder that's offered online. I ended up sending most of them to the recycle bin when they proved too complicated for me to wrap my brain around. I read up on some of the high-end website builders, dreaming about which one I'd buy when I could save up enough money. I'm not sure what made me think I'd be able to use the high priced ones any easier than I could the free ones, but nevertheless, I thought if I could just get my hands on one, THEN I'd be able to build the best website ever!
Now here comes this Site Rubix. I skimmed over the details, hardly interested in torturing myself with yet another website builder when I saw three words that made me back up and start reading again, this time much more carefully. I've already admitted to being technologically impaired, so what three words could possibly make me slow down and take notice?
Drag and drop.
I got excited when I read those three little words. Even given my internet ignorance, I was all about something that would let me drag and drop. That much technology I can handle! So this Site Rubix website builder claims it will let me drag and drop my site to make it look like I want it to look.
Sound too good to be true? How about if it also claims I can build a professional looking website in less than 5 minutes...with NO knowledge of HTML? If all that's true, then Site Rubix must be so easy a caveman could do it. And if that's the case, then maybe I can too.
To be honest, I don't know yet if Site Rubix is the best website builder. But if it does what it claims it can do, it's light years ahead of its closest competition.
