Self Help: How to Stop Anxiety and Panic Attacks

(Wed May 4th, 2011, by Philip White)

Those who suffer from anxiety and panic disorders with depression know their bodies and minds do not respond to physical and psychological stress the way most peoples do. They also know that managing their symptoms can be an on-going struggle. However, it is easy and possible to stop anxiety and depression in its tracks. Making the best use of the following information can offer or provide a strong and positive step toward bringing your anxiety and panic attacks under control while healing your depression. Below is how you can help to stop your anxiety and panic attacks with depression.

I am not the cause of my anxiety disorder. I am not also the cause of my depression. Say it loud and as many times as you need to before it sinks in. As with depression, some people will not understand what you are going through and offer nonsensical and often hurtful advice: all you need to do is to calm down, it is all in your head, it is just a little stress, grow up. Your family loves you but they may not know how to love you through this situation. Look people in the eye and tell them, what I am going through is very real and very serious and am not the cause of problem. If you are not willing to support me and understand me through this hard time in my life I am going to have to ask you not to speak of it again as the only thing you are doing is offending  or hurting me and interfering with my recovery. In the end, what you are doing is letting go of the guilt associated with people who make you feel like your anxiety and depression is self-inflicted.

One of the most difficult symptoms of an anxiety disorder is panic attacks, so let us deal with that. When a panic attack comes, take or face it. Tell yourself "this is simply a panic attack. it is not going to hurt or kill me." Do that all the time. Be firm as if you were a parent and the attack was a bad child. "It is not going to kill me." You can literally re-map neuro-pathways in the brain and train them to respond in a better way. Only this will help curb the attacks that happen just because you are afraid an attack is going to take place! Panic attacks can not and will not kill you.

Panic Away is an extraordinary ebook which contains tested and proven techniques to end your panic attacks once and for all using natural methods. If you need a lasting solution to stop your panic attack problem that works, you should get Panic Away. Check it out at Panic Away Review
