With all of the hoopla surrounding the July launch of the new Zero1 Mobile phone product developed by Buzzirk Mobile, it is hard to tell fact from fiction. But with a little technological demystification, the truth becomes very apparent. Let’s start with the price structure. The hallmark of a Zero1 mobile phone is freedom from limitations on usage. Yes, we are talking about voice, data, text, Internet – the whole package at a flat rate.
I loathe to employ the often abused phrase: “no hidden fees or charges,” but that is what you get. It’s about $80 a month, prepaid without a long term service agreement. Not only will you not pay a nickel more for a month of Buzzirk Mobile/Zero1 Mobile phone use, you’ll actually pay a nickel less if you want to get technical. Speaking of technology, the Zero1 network appears to be the backbone of this caper. Using VOIP to deliver high speed cell phone service allows for unlimited usage and they are passing on enough savings to the customer to undercut the competition while offering a better product.
The actual phone seems to be a quality product. My initial fear was that the best communications technology was going to be delivered on a stripped down piece of garbage, but Buzzirk Mobile took care of that aspect of the equation and put together a high quality product. The latest Zero1 mobile phone is the next step in wireless technology packaged in a cutting edge, quality cell phone and distributed through a multilevel marketing plan that I feel good about.
If the product finds the market share that it deserves then most of its future customers are still locked into a long term service agreement. You can bet that with every wave of cell phone plan termination dates this product is going to be there to pick up new customers.
