For the masses who use search engines as a form of generating business and new customer's, you might want to consider using search engine ranking software to help boots your efforts but which one do you choose? There are a huge rank of search engine focused software packages and services that you can access at the click of a button, some free and some paid and does the old saying you get what you pay for really mean anything with the vast choice of products available online? Well this is something you have to decide but be warned it can be pricey and you might not get what you expected. So what are you looking for from your search engine software? This is something you need to think about and decide on before you make a choice but most people are looking to build backlinks to there websites or blogs and in turn are looking to get a higher rank in the major search engines but this is not something that is going to happen overnight, you need to be patient and work at it without taking shorcuts and if done correctly the rewards can be worth all your hard efforts. A well designed website with a good set of backlinks and proper keyword research are all the blend to deliver a good chance of getting high search engine rankings and this is something you need to consider before heading out and trying to grap a number one spot for a search term that will either get no sales from the traffic or you won't be able to rank because there are too many competing websites. Now I found that using a wordpress blog can obtain high search engine rankings with good keyword research and good quality content with a good set of backlinks and it really is not that hard when you get the hand of things and if you are just starting out aim to target keywords that are only low competition but generate between 500 - 3000 searches a month. Now with the above taken in to consideration, I use a handy little search engine optimization program that I can submit articles and find other websites that accept links so that I can build backlinks that will help with my SEO efforts. I create my own content so that it is unique and I can control how the content comes across depending on the market I am trying to target. Usually I keep my content blog posts to around 300 words, and generally this is the same for the articles that I create, then when I come to use my optimization program I try to find around 5 - 8 links per day to build up link popularity in a steady flow.
