Main Gods

According to Hindu religion, significance is given to the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Hindus believe that Lord Vishnu, in order to save the universe from evil forces, takes birth in various avtars in different Yugas. These are his ten avatars. Those avtars are Khalki, Matsya, Varaha, Koorma, Narasimha, Rama, Vamana, Krishna, Parashurama and Balarama. Hindu devotees believe that the present yuga is Kaliyuga, in which preserver Vishnu is in the form of Khalki, who is the 10th avtar.
Earth, sun, water, air and fire are also worshipped by Hindus. These are also called as 5 components. They respect flora and fauna and regard them as gifts from god.
