MEDIUMS & METHODS OF REVELATION - DREAMS & THEIR INTERPRETATIONS - The Dream of Pilate's Wife I wrote this between 2003 - 2005 while being the Baptist Host - Writer - Editor at another site. I would like to say that maybe I was sharing my notes from my sunday school lesson but I am not sure. Let's travel and talk with Pilate and his wife at Matthew 27:19 Matthew 27:19: THE DREAM OF PILATE WIFE Question -- Food for Thought: Do Women Have the Power of Influence? WHEN HE WAS SET DOWN on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. @@@ MEDIUMS & METHODS OF REVELATION @@@ DREAMS & THEIR INTERPRETATIONS - The Dream of Pilate's Wife Jesus / Yeshua is Woman's Greatest Friend First, before I share any scriptures I want to share some key words: Women, John On The Island of Patmos, Jacob, Angel and Secret/Apocalypse... Of all the friends of the woman, Jesus stands as the greatest. Henry Ward Beecher once said: "Women are a new race, recreated since the world received Christanity." Consider for a moment the position of a woman before the days of Jesus. She was a piece of property -- to be bought and sold. Do you remember the story of Jesus talking to the woman of Samaria at the well? The disciples returned and marveled to find that Jesus was talking with a woman. Why did they marvel? Clarence Edward McCartney, the Presbyterian minister said, "Woman, who made it fit and decent and moral for a prophet to talk with thee?" W. R. White said, "If motherhood and womanhood stay up, civilization cannot go down. The mother of John Wesley once said, "I will disappear from the world and reappear in my children." Now, we are ready to travel to Jerusalem. Matthew 28:1 Now late on the sabbath day, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. This is the first occurrence in the Bible of the phrase "the first day of the week" (For the Jews the 7th day was the important one -- Sabbath). Mary Magadelene was the woman of some wealth who had been delivered by Jesus from the fearful bondage of possession by 7 demons, and had, with other women, accompanied Jesus and the disciples to minister to their various needs. Matthew 28:2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it. Matthew 28:3 None of the Evangelists attempt to describe the Resurrection itself; it had no witnesses. Jesus left the tomb silently, invisibly and wondrously. Matthew 28:4 and for fear of him the watchers did quake, and became as dead men. "God not only thwarted the effort of His enemies, He even turned their means for overcoming the truth into means for aiding the victory of the truth. Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and saith unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified. The first word the women had heard from the empty tomb of Jesus was 'Fear Not!' It was the first word of the angel's message at Bethlehem. Matthew 28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. The angel bade the holy women investigate the empty tomb, but almost immediately after, he gave them a commission to perform on their Lord's behalf. Matthew 28:9 Then saith Jesus unto them, Fear not: go tell my brethen that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me. The first message of the Resurrection is given to women, and the first group commanded to bear witness to the Resurrection is this group of women. According to my understanding the appearances of Jesus to Mary Magdalene, to Peter and to James were private manifestations. Scripture text taken from: Crusade @ Bible Publishers, Inc. 1970, Mt.
