"Dear, Beloved John. . . . You were expecting me to visit you in the same physical form as when you saw me last. This time, I chose not to do it that way, but to show you that I am with you always and in many different forms and ways. At first, you were disappointed when I didn't arrive with Gideon and Marla. Actually, I was here before they arrived. I was always here, even before the Earth, the universe or anything.
"Someone once told you that I am not like human beings, that I do not have arms, legs, a face and other human characteristics. To a certain extent, that is true because I am like anything that I want to be. I am the sum total of everything. I am All That Is. If I choose to be an invisible force or a field of interaction, then, that is what I Am. When I choose to be in human form, I Am that also. Sometimes it is difficult for you to conceive of me as just a benign force. When those times occur, it is better for you to see me or think of me in human terms. It will help you to be closer to me. It will give you more comfort and strength, and as you grow in wisdom and understanding, you'll find that you no longer need to see or relate to me in any particular form, shape or size. You will then discover that you and I have always been together, that we are inseparable parts of each other.
"I was intrigued and pleased at your reflections on life as you roamed around your yard this afternoon. You don't need me to tell you what color to paint a room or what suit to wear to a meeting. Those are decisions most of my children can make without much difficulty. All you need to do is to practice being aware of me at all times. Yes, I have many children. There are many of you on Earth, all uniquely different from one another. There are others who live in distant galaxies and in alternate space-time universes. Each one is dear to me.
