I was ask a very simple question at the ministerial review board, the implications of it made very little sense at the time, however, as I progress further into the ministry facing horrendous attacks by hordes of demonic invasion coming from what I could only describe as the darkest labyrinth in bizarre appearance, unsure if a realm like this existed on earth, in the sky above or beneath the darken sea waters, their advance was quickly followed by more unidentified curse imps craving for soul possess dominance, as I began to encounter more and more difficult situations, I started to draw from my past experience the ammunition needed to defeat and reinforce vital spiritual territories, often casting my mind back to that review board meeting, where to this day only vague inspiration was half leaping out in search of exclusive answers to pacify better presented questions.
When individuals Live for God they are spiritually transformed into a new redemptive person; life on a whole, takes on a more meaningful approach, the personality traits gradually changes to become like Christ, this great inward transformation makes the true believer born again into a new creation and takes on the defining image of heavenly purpose.
God desire that we all should become united with Him through Jesus, in redemption, the convert becomes a valuable person with different attitude to how they view the world and its citizens, the word of God becomes a life changing tool, giving instruction and guidance, new behavior pattern emerges changing hidden secret sinfulness to repentance, people that were once dislike are much more tolerated, the inner reality of kingdom principles propel the individuals onward from one glory to glory with the expression of growth, however, There are only two spiritual realms and everything that matters depends on which nature is in control, the natural man or the spiritual man, a born again person receives confirmation blessing and benefits of Gods grace, through the forgiveness, and purchase redemption of Christ,
Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things have passed away , behold all things become new, new simply means refocusing priority, believing and accepting Christ as savior and Lord, willing to walk in a spiritual vocation according to the dictates of the heart with Gods governance. 2 Corinthians 5:17 God will decree his election in the persons life, and cuts a lifetime lasting covenant with perpetual promises which ultimately opens the redemptive door of heavenly opportunity.
Living in Christ is where you are transformed into a new person. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) The revelation of being in Christ changes our concept of who we are. It is in Christ where His personality is united with our personality and we take on a new personality. We become a new person with a new attitude, new behaviors, new likes, and dislikes. We do not really know who we are until we see our selves in Christ, because our life is hidden in Him. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:2-3).
Living for God means to give ones heart freely back in sacrificial service, and we should without doubt first and foremost love God, and love others even if they despise righteousness, their behavior is not for us to judge, our objectives is to be compassionate by loving the sinner and hate the sin, this we can sincerely do by experiencing Gods gracious love. Our heart draws nearer to the immutable word; for guidance, Jesus then becomes the closest friend in the good times of our lives and comforts our soul during times of grief.
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15:9-11) We live and remain in God’s love by following the commands that Jesus gave us.
As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." John 15:9-11
Back in that review board meeting, I could find no answers that were suitable enough to meet the criteria of the question that the review committee members were asking. Although at the time, my immediate reaction to the propose question was to play clever, and try to pass it off as unimportant, with a dismissive air of better best left alone, but no one was buying it, every sought eyes were more focus looking into mine, perhaps that moment was the longest time I had ever sat in stone silence, I knew if I fail this test that my world would almost cave in upon me, I had gone to Bible school, studied hard to come this far, now I was on the threshold of being a Reverend, then all of a sudden, a sharper member of the board reiterated the simplest thought provoking question again "who comes first in your life?" I look up from the well varnish table gleaming with the fading shadow of my reflection, and echoed for all to hear, "God comes first", after describing how and why I had arrive at that juncture, there was nothing else left to do but swallow hard and breathe a sigh of relief as the rumbling of note pads and pens found their usual fidgeting circles around the table began taking place again.
Living for god is the key to presiding worship, which as we progress, faith increases our daily responsibility allowing God to create, and structure ranks, in personal stages of development, by rebuking dereliction of duty and harmonizing the individual and organization in which we frequently serve. Living for God reveals a clearer picture of ourselves, and also shows us intimately the attractive comparison of theocracy, which simply means government under the immediate direction of God. although this cross culture information may frustrate others who do not understand the rank and roll of a person who has been chosen by God for a particular task, the intensity of that calling will undoubtedly pose conflict capitals in family relationships,
There have always been some people who lived without religious faith, finding every answer under the sun to evade salvation, even when unusual sickness comes calling and dangerous entity make their dwelling within the confines of their home, already cramp with sophisticated rebelliousness, predictably grace becomes a stranger, and children and other members of that family adopts this practice way of living, abandoning faith and accepting cheaper corruption as the norm, but I started to wise up and put God first in my daily life.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33.
