Things can be added to the interor or exterior of a home to give it that distinctive appearance and identity. Some like to throw in a fireplace, or built-in furnishings, or a loft, or big windows to let in more light. Some add a big Florida room, or add ceiling fans to each room of the house. There are the title agencies, or attorneys to research and make sure title to a piece of land is clear and nobody has a claim in it. There are the insurance agents representing the various aspects of the real estate purchase: title insurance, mortgage insurance, homeowners insurance, flood insurance. From beginning to end, there is a process in buying real estate, and one which usually lasts for over a month, until the day of settlement when all the legal forms are complete, and issues resolved.
