The brain is held captive in the hands of the mind.The mind demands a ransom.The compensation for all the denials inflicted on the biological needs when our body-mind system needed them the most!
And a mere undoing today - allowing what was denied - will simply NOT do the job.It demands a much bigger compensation - all the interest added, and that too a compound one! Plus a disturbance allowance!!
But who is it demanding all this from?
And what exactly is it that it is demanding?
Biological needs denied - the principal - has by now added all kinds of interests and late payment charges to itself in order to become a huge final sum, i.e., the psychological glamor alluring us with its full hypnotic spell!Even after that the accounts are not clear.We always feel keeping missing something, which we do not know what!
The mind keeps making its noise.We keep running after the psychological glamor all through our life.Even if we got it more than we could have imagined in our wildest dreams, we still keep missing something, which we do not know what!
Our demands of psychological glamor are targeted at the society.But what about the vacuum of missing something, which we do not know what!We have lost our passion!
No amount of emotional glamor can compensate for it.Emotions run here and there noisily.Passion stands still in the moment.Emotions want love - they are seekers.Passion loves - it seeks not.
We are missing passion, which we must know we are!Can I go to the edge and walk on it, taking care not to fall down and get killed?Can I walk on the edge?
Can I live my life on edge, taking care not to fall down - every single moment?The utmost care is needed in order not to fall down and harm your-self.
You need total silence for that much of care!No noise of the mind running here and there noisily inside the brain can, any more, be afforded.After all it is a question of do or die!After all it is a question of life and death!
The brain takes the initiative and immediately stops the mind.The right synaptic signals get clearly established in between the brain cells, and travel through the motor nerves to the muscles taking the right step at the right moment.
Mind goes empty.Brain stands still, doing momentarily - what exactly is needed, to be done.
No less, no more!
No hanky-panky!
No confusions!
No greed!
No fear!
No nonsense!
No nothing!
Only intelligence!
Supreme intelligence!
No more missing, anymore now!
This is what stopping in the moment is.But the question remains: where to find those edges, or how to create them in our day to day, routine and mundane life; and that too without putting it in any stupid peril!
Certainly, it is a real pertinent question if we have honestly decided to live life on edge.
