The World Expo of 2010 holds in Shanghai, China. Shanghai government applied it on May, 2001 and until the December, 2002, it was succeed. By 2010, they need nearly 10 years of time to prepare and realize the World Expo dream.

Place: both shores of the Huangpu River, between the Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge

Theme's aim: To enhance the public's sense of different kind of challenges in "the urban time", and provide the possible solutions. Beside, promote to the protection of urban inheritance and make people pay more attention on health urban development. In addition, to spread the concept, successful practice and innovative technology of the sustainable urban development, and find the urban pattern that fits for the developing country. What's more, to promote the communication and understanding in human society.

As we known, cities are created by our human, it grows and evolves gradually to an organic system. The human is the most active and richest innovation cells in this system. People's life and cities shape have a close interaction. In fact, human, city and earth the three link together and pass through all the urban development. This is also the main idea of this World Expo.

This World Expo of Shanghai aims to attract 200 countries and international organizations join the exposition and 70 million visitors. The World Expo has the "International Architecture" which collects the world's top intelligence and advanced technology and it no doubt will become the largest exhibit. In addition to the China Pavilion, Theme Pavilion and other Hosts Pavilion, the foreign pavilions which integrate with "Chinese element" also will become one of the greatest highlights in this Expo.

When people approach this World Expo, visiting all the pavilions of different countries in China and many other foreign exhibition pavilions, the Paper Cutting, Cheongsam, Chinese Red, the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Terracotta Warriors, Painting Scroll...all Chinese typical elements and other countries great arts will be found here.
