My intentions drastically shifted one Sunday morning after just finishing listening to a wonderful call comprised of different people coming together to promote their various businesses in a tele-conference; similar to going to a networking meeting where everyone has a turn to stand up and give their two minute commercial for their particular business. The participants on the call all contributed in a very colorful way. Everyone left the call feeling enlightened and eager to connect on an individual basis with the participants to learn more about what each person had to offer.
After getting off the call, I had every intention to send follow-up emails to people expressing my excitement about what they had to offer, and to see how we could possibly work together in the future. I also had the intention to start my article series of favorite Abraham-Hicks quotes that started the night before when I re-read the quote I received from the Abraham-Hicks website earlier that morning. I also intended to finish Michael Losier's book so I could write a review, and I intended to draft a proposal for a pre-school where I may start teaching music. All of my intentions turned around with the viewing of one particular movie on google video entitled Zeitgeist.
The embedded video on my blog is actually of the entire movie. You can visit the site directly and email the producer after you're finished watching it.
While watching the movie, time seemed to stand still. I felt as if I was in sort of a twilight zone, where I was finally beginning to see all the pieces finally coming together of questions that I had asked previously of our existence: "How did we get here? Why are we here? Why does it feel difficult to be here? Why are the 'powers-that-be' so insensitive? Why when one gets power, they belittle everyone else and begin to play with their lives? Why am I looked at as an odd ball when I'm 'perpetually happy'?"... For me, the questions seemed endless, but now, right in front of me, in a matter of almost 120 minutes, most of the major pieces of the puzzle were finally coming together.
Seeing this has sparked me to comment and share my perception around each part of the movie. So, I've created an article series where each article will go into depth some of my initial responses. Since I'm the author of this article, and since the movie touches on the idea of "consciousness" creating, I'm going to contribute to the creation, not by ignoring it, or being "correct" or seeming "indifferent." In this case, I'm going to offer my personal opinion with whatever resonates with me for each section of the film. This is simply a perspective; one that has the Law of Attraction in mind, and surely one that is framed by my own personal experiences. I'll be bearing all in this series....whatever "all" is at the moment. I humbly invite you to share in my sharing. With that said, on to part one of the movie, The Greatest Story Ever Told.
