Want to see what you get for free courtesy of the Masked Guru? Here's a snip from his expose of the 'Rich jerk'.
Pages 8 and 9 of the Rich Jerk ebook contain an example of the Rich Jerk's sales letter based on the concept of pretending to be an independent reviewer keen to expose scams. 'Get Rich Quick Scams Exposed' if you will. Pretend you are a sad lonely little chap who has bought dozens of such courses before realizing none of them work, and now want to share this information with others as a kind of public service. With just a small fee, to cover your costs.
As he rightly points out, it uses the entire gamut of his tactics:-
hope - ordinary joes can make money from home, easily.
urgency - the offer expires in a couple of days.
authority - I'm a sad loser like you and have already tried loads of these scams.
unbiased - really, I am, honest
fear - 99% of all programmes are scams - don't risk them!
the Masked Guru says : sales letter 101. Nothing much but basic stuff here, and a couple of off-white ideas that could land you in a LOT of trouble if you implement them badly. There are many FREE 'template letters' available out there if you want to try fooling people with this kind of pitch. You certainly don't need to pay for it. Just try searching Google.
The Rich Jerk claims he has used an ad 'just like it' to make $50,000 a month from 'just one of his sites'. He supplies no proof of this claim.
Page 10 continues the theme, explaining that you can 'get started making money quickly' by reviewing ClickBank products. Use his 5 tactics to knock out a 'killer review site' in just 'a couple of hours'. And of course, as a middle man, you don't have to deal with stroppy customers, requests for refunds etc - that's the product owner's problem.
The Masked Guru says : While it is true that acting as a ClickBank affiliate means you don't have customer headaches, you sure do get refund requests. Lots of them, in fact, because ClickBank forces all merchants to operate a no questions asked money back guarantee. They even dock your checks each month to make sure they don't pay you too much for this exact reason. Serial refunders are the bane of most ClickBank marketers' online lives.
The Rich Jerk's next tip is to apply for 'seals of approval'. He suggests www.Truste.com, www.BBBonline.com, and www.Better-Internet-Bureau.org . Reason? It lends 'authority' to your site. He makes no bones about it - if necessary BUY a recommendation from those sites willing to sell them because it will boost your sales massively.
