Landing Pages are also known as Squeeze page or lead capturing page where the web master tries to get the email address of the user when the visitor visits the site.

So how do you convert your visitors to sign up for the newsletter from your traffic.

Offer something free. Tell them that they'll get a free ebook or free tips when they signup for the newsletter.

Keep the description short with nice eye catching headlines that'll attract the visitor. Don't make a hard sell yet but make the page look like a sale's page. Write a Sales letter that's aim is to get the visitor's email address. It should be around 300 words not more than that.

After getting the email address you can then redirect them to your original sales letter.

In your squeeze page add disclaimers, privacy info and don't have too many links. You can have it in the bottom of the page as that'd be better.

Point out the benefits they get, if they sign up for the newsletter like free ebook. Add audio and video to the page so that it'll attract more visitors.
