Whether you are aware of it or not, your subconscious mind is the master of your body and mind, controlling every aspect of your life. It controls your feelings and your body and is, believe it or not, largely responsible for all of your achievements in life.
These may sound like rather extravagant claims, particularly for something so few people really have any idea even exists.
Your subconscious mind is responsible for every aspect of your body and works behind the scenes, which means you it works hard without you every really being aware of it. All you notice is your mood suddenly changing; you getting down or feeling upset without really being aware of what has caused it.
Subconscious mind programming is something everybody should learn as it really helps you to take control of your life and enjoy it to the max. It is not something you do once on a rainy afternoon and then forget about. It's like going to the gym to get yourself fit; it's something you have to do consistently in order to get any sort of lasting results.
I'm sure you are now wondering exactly how you go about this subconscious mind programming, so let me explain.
The first step is not that glamorous or thrilling, but is very simple and easy to do. You simply have to become aware of your subconscious mind patterns. This means noticing what your subconscious mind is up to. Remember, it's used to running on autopilot without your involvement, so this may be a bit of a surprise for you. Your subconscious mind in reality talks to you all day long. Most people learn to tune this voice out because it talks so out. It may take you a little while to actually hear everything that is going on in your subconscious mind, so don't worry if you are only aware of a little to start with.
Begin by paying attention to what is going on in your head when your mood suddenly changes and, particularly, when you find yourself experiencing negative emotions. This is the result of something in your subconscious mind; something you are not totally conscious of. Remember that you have full control of your mind and what you are feeling.
Once you start to become aware of your subconscious mind patterns then it is time to start some serious subconscious mind programming.
In its most simple form, this is just becoming aware of the negative patterns in your subconscious mind and countering them with the positive opposite. I told you it was simple! You can manage that, can't you? My book, Subconscious Mind Programming For Maximum Success tells you many more techniques, but this is a great place to start and to become aware of these subconscious patterns.
For example, if you find yourself saying you can't all the time, start to counter it by saying either out loud or in your mind "I can" over and over again. Make sure you say it in a very positive, strong and confident tone of voice, and be prepared for odd looks if you say it out aloud whilst in public places, though saying it out aloud is the most effective and rapid way to change these patterns. This action will very quickly overpower the can't in your head and knock it out of your subconscious mind completely.
Becoming aware of your subconscious mind patterns and then re-programming them through countering them with a positive and opposite affirmation really works and is an easy way to start your subconscious mind programming.
