Marketing: Famous Mistakes Marketers Made That Got Their Google Accounts Banned

(Tue May 17th, 2011, by Dario Montes de Oca)

When you use Google Adsense it is important that you follow the TOS perfectly or Google will ban your account. This article will talk about the most common mistakes people make and show you how easy it is to avoid making them yourself. Also take your time to read about free backlinks.

Don't make the mistake of specifying Google Ads as alternate ads. Some advertising services (like Chitika) allow you to choose alternate URLS when your targeted ads are not displayed. To do this with those programs just make an HTML page and put the ad that you want to be displayed on it instead. AdSense is the same in this area because if you don't want to show the public service ads you are allowed to put in an alternative URL. Just take steps to make sure that you don't accidentally (or on purpose) use another AdSense ad in place of another one. This is a violation of the Google terms of service.

Including the ads from AdSense in the e-mails you send is also very much against the rules. While HTML e-mails look good and most programs allow the insertion of ad code, the TOS of Google AdSense does not allow it. You don't want any impressions coming in on their logs from e-mail. This will only make your account more vulnerable to getting banned for good. If you want to monetize your e-mail, stick to affiliate links or ads for your own products. If you liked this article so far, you'll enjoy the topic of backlink software.

Be careful if you use other content type ads such as contextual ads because Google doesn't approve of that. The other ads represent competition with Google, and it follows that they frown upon such practices. Don't try and copy-cat the Adsense ads because it's against their TOS, too. The main thing to keep in mind is that you do not want to create anything that mimics the Adsense ads. So remember that and no need to worry because there isn't a lot to it, and the potential returns are much worth it. So make sure you keep this in mind before you run any kind of contextual ads that may prove to be competition to Google ads.

You really can become very successful with Adsense, it will take time, but you need to make sure you're always following the TOS. A lot about these various programs is just a question of learning new information a few skills. Take your time to read about SEnuke X.
