Internet: Interactive Online Marketing - Two Way Communication On Websites

(Tue May 17th, 2011, by Mitell Cogert)

What that means is the competition to draw a browser to your site has intensified that much. Yes, it is a fact that a website can help you to reach millions of customers all over the world everyday. But to make use of the potential your web page got to be different. One of the most fundamental requirements of today's websites is that they have to be interactive. The road ahead is of interactive online marketing. In the following section of the article we will discuss some of the key points of interactive online marketing.

Mailing Newsletters

Sending a mail can initiate an interactive process which can go a long way in actually promoting and finally selling your products or services. There are two ways in which you can have a mailing list. You can either create one by having a form in your website where you ask your visitors to provide their mailing addresses. Or, if you want a quick fix you can buy mailing lists which are available on sale from different agencies. However before buying such lists you have to be sure that the mailing addresses you get are exclusive and the addressee approves of receiving mails from you.

Encourage Participation

Maintain a guestbook in your website so that the visitors can leave comments after they are through with seeing your website. This will make your clients believe that you really care about what they think and what their needs are. You also will benefit in understanding them better.

Have a Vote

Assign a place in your website where visitors can vote. Choose topics that would be connected to what you are offering and also easily identified by the visitors. This would be one more step towards interactive online marketing.
