By using a sewing machine to do your quilting, you will take a lot of the time away that it would have taken you if you were to sew each piece together by hand. This is why some people refer to quilting using a sewing machine as easy machine quilting. Your quilt will still be homemade and beautiful, but it will take you very little time to do so!

As far as a sewing machine for quilting, you can use almost any machine. Even your mother's old machine is good enough, so you don't have to spend a lot of money if you don't have to. Even a brand new sewing machine can cost you under $100, and you will still get many stitches to choose from.

Easy machine quilting makes it a lot easier to put all of your pieces together and to get more quilting done in less time. Before you know it, you will be making quilts for friends, family, and may even be selling them for extra money!
