According to Balham cleaners all that you are going to need is a squeegee, window cleaning solution, rubber gloves, sponge, fiber cloth, an old newspaper.
You can either create your own cleaning solution using household products or buy one from your local supermarket. Creating your own cleaning solution is not that hard. All you need is an empty spray bottle and these ingredients – 1/3 liquid soap or a mild detergent, 3 tablespoons white vinegar and 2 cups clean water. Mix the ingredients together and put them in the spray bottle.
Spray the windows with this solution from both sides. Then spread the solution on the glassy surface using a sponge. After the surface had been covered with the solution take the squeegee out. With one swift motion wipe the window from left to right from top to bottom. Balham cleaners recommend that you follow the same pattern on the other side of the glass but vertically. This way you will know on which side of the glass the are marks and smudges.
After you've finished wiping the window with the squeegee absorb any water drops with the microfiber cloth. The last thing that you should do is to take the old newspaper out and dry up the glass with it. The paper won't leave any marks or smudges, and will try you windows quickly.
