Environment: Water And Exercise in Our Attempt To Stay In Shape

(Fri Aug 20th, 2010, by Hal Johnson)

Our human body is actually made up of a huge percentage of water, which is actually in the range of between 55 and 75%. Well, this is even more so for lean and fit people since their bodies are full of muscles, and muscles hold more amount of water than fat. And it is also a known fact that we are always in constant need of replenishment from water.

Whenever we breathe in normally, between 2 and 4 cups of water are actually expelled by our lungs, this is true either on a hot or colder day. And if ever we sweat, another cup of water is again releases. Then if you are a person who makes several trips to the bathroom, let's say a dozen trips, you are emitting more or less 6 cups. When we perspire on a normal way, not through exercising, we also expel about another two cups of this precious water. This will definitely prove why constant replenishing is needed y our human body.

For a person to become dehydrated, he would need to lose about 10% of his body weight in the form of fluids, but even as little as 2 percent can already affect an athlete in his performance, it will automatically cause tiredness and even dull critical mental abilities. That is why we need adequate supply of water in our body so as to lessen the chance of having kidney stones, to prevent, if not to lessen, the severity of colds and flu, to keep our joints lubricated and performing well, and help prevent the emergence of constipation.

And I you like to use water as a means for you to stay in shape, why don't you try ding the so-called aqua aerobics. No one also said that only the bulky and the heavy equipment have the power to help you in slimming down and taking shape. Aqua aerobics can prove to be the fast, easy, and the fun way of losing down a bit of the weight that you believed is not needed y your body.

Exercising in the water and with the water can be so much that it doesn't have to make you feel that you are actually doing an intense workout.
