Environment: Resveratrol Facts - Three Great Reasons to Try Resveratrol Before You Turn 40

(Thu Dec 17th, 2009, by Tina Bardo)

What are the facts about Resveratrol? With so much marketing myth and misinformation seemingly everywhere we turn...are there any really good reasons to try this magical, and mysterious anti-oxidant other than the celebrity endorsements we see all over the web? In this article we take a quick and insightful look at some REAL reasons why Resveratrol must may be the fountain of youth...and YOUR #1 chance to stay young, fit and fabulous forever!

It may facilitate SUPER fast fat loss through emulating caloric restriction: This is one of the original reasons why science looked at Resveratrol in the first place - the so called "french paradox"....where cultures whose diets were disproportionately high in fat and calories, did NOT have levels of obesity anywhere near their American counterparts. (the thought being the Resveratrol concentrations found in red wine, a staple of french diets, didn't allow the fat to "bind" at a cellular level) This has actually been now substantiated in animal lab tests, most famously in mice.

Resveratrol seems to extend life span in just about every species yet to be tested....including everything from mice, worms, fruit flies and even yeast! (and the mice were actually OVERFED and still stayed active and lived longer than the control group NOT offered a similar rez supplement.

Polyphenolic compounds like Resveratrol are thought to do a whole host of other "good" for the body, including potentially dramatically reducing cardiovascular disease, potentially blocking the development of cancer cells (mice treated with Resveratrol topically did NOT develop skin cancer EVEN when the carcinogen was applied directly to their skin) and many more benefits associated with anti-aging and aesthetics. (like keeping you LOOKING good for longer!) All very exciting stuff indeed....especially if you're approaching that age where "aging" is a BIG concern. (like it certainly was for me..:-)

Bonus Tip: Beware of the Resveratrol Scams! Unfortunately, many of the resveratrol products on the market are scams, being sold by unscrupulous companies with one hand in your pocket, rather than out to help you heal.

My best advice? If you really want to experience the amazing benefits of resveratrol, make sure you ONLY buy

Bonus Tip: Beware of the Resveratrol Scams! Unfortunately, many of the resveratrol products on the market are scams, being sold by unscrupulous companies with one hand in your pocket, rather than out to help you heal.

My best advice? If you really want to experience the amazing benefits of resveratrol, make sure you ONLY buy genuine, tested resveratrol supplements or extract.

(This is the best resveratrol product online in our opinion, and the one that we use, and recommend to our family, friends and readers alike.)
