Fall is a great time to plant Arborvitae. Arborvitae are easy to transplant in the fall. Most trees and shrubs can be transplanted well into the fall as long as the ground is not frozen. Here at Highland Hill Farm in rural Fountainville Pa, our ground is dig-able for about 10 months of the year. Only in January and February do the ground temperatures get cold enough to really prevent transplanting of our Arborvitae.

We grow 20 types of Arborvitae and Cypresses as well as hundreds of other trees and shrubs on our farms. Our most popular plants are 3-4 Green Giants and 3-4 Leyland Cypress that we deliver to your property. The cost for delivery is less than most people expect because we use a range of trucks and personnel to make our deliveries. We sometimes have specials where we have hunters who want to go hunting on our properties drop off stock on their way to one of our many farms and ranches. One of the most popular Arborvitae that we raise is the Green Giant. We grow large numbers of them on our farms. We raise this plant from cuttings to 14 ft specimens. It is a fast growing arborvitae that is deer and pest resistant.
We have an unusual rock challenge that you might be interested in. Bring a small pick up and test it out with a real load of rocks....all it can haul for $75... Full sized PU are $150. See if it has guts!!! Plus we can help load. This has become a popular way for stone sales. Many people want to be selective in the rock or stone they take home. This works for us because we do not have to palletize all our stone.
