Fans of the VH1 reality television series Rock of Love who have tuned in throughout the first season of the show's lovelorn run, are well-versed by now with how the penultimate victor Jes Rickleff decided not to pursue a relationship with Bret Michaels, especially with what happened during the finale. The show's true highlight came after the finale, when Jes sided with her closest rival Heather and condemned the editing which vilified her competitor. However, she's still very much a topic of public interest in the small screen world of reality TV, going on to do a number of appearances and riding on the wave of fame that her stint on the romance show gave her.

Jes has continued to travel across the United States for public promotional appearances, even together with her ex-opponent and new friend Heather. The Rock of Love winner reportedly showed up last October 19 in New Jersey , where she was seen at Club Abyss in Sayreville . According to local news, she was designated the host of the Ladies Night Dance Party, which coincided with the nightspot's so-called "male revue." Later on, Jes got together with Heather at Fort Lauderdale the following Saturday, where they made an appearance at the Pangaea Lounge of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

As an inside joke related to their appearance on Rock of Love, where the object of their affection was a lead singer of the band Poison, free "Pink Poison" drinks were made available for lady patrons until the stroke of midnight. During a past interview, Jes already made clear her intention to use whatever attention and fame she may have achieved from being on the reality series. She is set to contribute as a featured guest at a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
