It was only a short time ago I put away Christmas decorations and vacuumed the last bit of tinsel off the floor.  Wasn’t it only yesterday I helped color eggs for the kids?  Presently I am working out the details for the mid-summer beach party.  I have no time to waste; I must confirm my costume for the Halloween party before it’s too late.  This year I am not going to be the one wearing my husband’s old suit to the costume party because I waited until October to try to buy my Halloween costume.  

Finding and purchasing a Halloween costume for me is no small matter: I am no small matter.  Ok, I am big girl, and, while there is any number of x-small costumes available on October 20th, just try to find an x-large costume that has a shred of feminine quality.   I have been a bear, sweltering through the party; our Halloween season tends to run hot.  I often attend in a man’s costume, because, well, men’s Halloween costumes run large.  The bed sheet passes fairly well for a toga; however, wearing a sweater to cover my arm spoils the look, and besides, it’s hot.  No this year; I began my search early.  I looked online and found something pretty and sexy.  I am going to look hot this year, and it won’t be due to the weather.
