After the string of unexpected deaths on Prison Break Season two, the highly anticipated season three promises to return with some new characters that will hopefully infuse more thrill and action to the Fox series.

With Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) now in Sona prison, producers are pondering on the idea of him forging some new alliances within the gloomy penitentiary. And to bring light to the Scofield brothers' link with the mystifying military scientists, season three will also shed some light to Basil Island Research Facility's curiosity in Michael's inclination to escape from prisons.

Primary, there is the "mysterious fisherman" character that is also detained at Sona but is allegedly innocent. Second to join is the fisherman's girlfriend. And with the incorporation of the girlfriend's plot in the story line, many speculate that she will eventually cross paths with Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and the two of them will probably concoct a scheme that will get their men out of Sona prison. In addition, a Panamanian drug king pin will also be added to the plot. Lastly, a mysterious female character from the government will surface the season to hopefully bring light to the people at Basil Island.

Given all these new characters, Prison Break fans have cooked up their own theories and assumptions over what to expect on the upcoming season.
