The website for horror enthusiasts, www.dreadcentral.com recently released a positive review for the upcoming film, Babysitter Wanted. This is just one of the several good reviews the film garnered from various critics and enthusiasts, with actor Bruce Thomas, who appears on the television show Kyle XY, being recognized for his work on the new thriller movie.

"What I will tell you about Babysitter Wanted, however, is that it most likely will not go where you think it's going, it's smart and has some great performances," the website stated. "The dad, played by Bruce Thomas, especially does a great job with the role he's given which at first doesn't seem like much but you'll soon realize is a lot meatier than expected."

The film follows a young college student who gets terrorized while babysitting in a rural area. It is directed by Michael Manasseri and Jonas Barnes, who were both commended for their work on the horror film.

The cast of Babysitter Wanted include Sarah Thompson from 7th Heaven, Kristen Dalton who appeared on The Departed, Monty Bane from Sleepwalkers and Bill Moseley who appeared on The Devil's Rejects. Bruce Thomas' co-star in Kyle XY, Matt Dallas, also stars in the film.

ABC Family's Kyle XY features Dallas playing Kyle, a teenager who wakes up in the middle of the forest with no memory of his past. Bruce Thomas, in the other hand, plays the husband of a therapist named Nicole (played by Marguerite McIntyre), who takes Kyle under her wing for the meantime as the newly formed family tries to search for Kyle's identity. The series' basic premise is to find the truth behind Kyle's mysterious identity.

Babysitter Wanted is yet to be released by Lionsgate, who is the official domestic distributor of the film.
