Education:Single Moms to Learn through Obama Grants

President Barack Obama is there for the nation's citizens- especially single mothers who want to go back to school. These women have missed out on higher education for a variety of reasons, the most of which is having to raise their family and not having the money or time to educate themselves. Obama wants these moms to know that there is funding available that they can use to get the schooling they deserve.
Time goes by quickly when you are raising a family, but do not think it is too late. It most likely feels like a struggle to make ends meet when there is not a steady income in the household. Well, government funding in the form of $10,000 scholarships can help these women with education, and the grants do not have to be paid back. This is not a student loan. There are many recent college graduates who have to pay back loans for years, or even decades.
The government is offering many of these scholarships to women- as long as they are American citizens and over the age of 18. The money will not last forever so it should be taken advantage of while it is available. If you have a tight schedule and are worried about having time for school, some colleges let you earn your degree online, which will allow you to be more flexible with the study time. When you graduate, you will feel successful with the achievement and will have children looking up at you in admiration. They hopefully will follow in your footsteps when it is time for them to make the choice on higher education.
