Although the digital revolution is aimed to move towards less paper in the environment, the business of peddling printers with a long string of accessories in tow is still very evident in modern society.  Since the poignant moment of not having to send to print has yet to coincide with the lifestyles of the industrious and ordinary, the need to source for discount toners are still very much a daily affair.  Depending on brand loyalty and buying preference, the assortment of printers available for the mass market is certainly overwhelming to say the least.  Able to churn out printed copies in accordance to international standards for papers size, the magnitude of shades courtesy of using colored toners are sufficient to shame the average photograph.  It is therefore no surprise to see a significant portion of the consumer market turn to the no-longer humble printer to spit out hardcopies of their vacation to adorn albums and picture frames.

 

Buying in bulk is generally the path well travelled on.  An assortment of coupons enables the buyer to trim a significant portion off his final purchase.  As long as he fills his shopping basket with a set of cartridges in various hues of magenta and cyan as well as the primary colors and the ever faithful black, he can enjoy a substantial discount.  Toners do not survive in isolation and often require the company of drums to complete the print process.  Although one may wonder what a musical instrument may be doing in the midst of complex machinery, it is safe to say that its presence is crucial to the workings within.

 

There are as many brands of toner as there are printers.  Everyone who has gone done this street is also fully aware that competing brands guard their territory as though a diamond mine and do not appreciate another breaching the borders.  In the event one swears allegiance to a particular brand for reasons of better pricing, service or just because the learning curve cannot handle a new set of buttons and user's guide, not all toner cartridges are made the same.  There lies the rub whereby a model within the same brand cannot accept another model's innards even though if the model number differs ever so slightly.  To soften the blow of having to stick with the branded merchandise, generic versions have infiltrated the market to open up the window of compatibility, allowing buyers some financial leeway from the pricier stuff.
