You and I both know that it's not enough to just want to get a girlfriend. Hey, just about every single guy wants to get a girlfriend, but most guys just end up single and still waiting. What makes the difference between the guys that DO end up attracting a woman and making her want to be with them is that they understand what women respond to, and they don't just focus on what they think a woman wants. Sometimes, thinking can be a dangerous thing.

Seriously though, if you continue to approach the idea of getting a girlfriend by doing things that you just think would work, you are going to struggle. Most of the typical advice on how to get a girlfriend is just stuff that sounds good, but doesn't actually get you the results that you want.

Here are a few tips on how to get a girlfriend that will help you find out what women respond to:

1. Women respond to men that give off the alpha male vibe.

It's not the nice guy that gets the girls, it's the alpha male. Now, you can obviously still be a nice guy and act like an alpha male at the same time, and that will make you even more successful with women. The point is, you need to give off that vibe that you are a real and genuine alpha male and you will see that women that you might assume would be out of your league start to respond to you.

2. Women respond to guys that know how to strike up a conversation and keep her attention the whole time.

When it comes to talking to a woman, most guys have a hard time. You need to key in on what women like to talk about, while at the same time keeping that masculine vibe. For example, she might like fashion, but if you start talking about it with her like you are just one of the girls, guess what she's going to think of you as being? On the same token, if you sit there and talk about dismantling and rebuilding a 454 big block engine, you are probably going to lose her somewhere along the way.

3. Women respond to men that don't wait for permission.

Most of the time, guys wait for a woman's permission to make a move on her. Of course, there has to be a word of caution here, because you don't want to do anything that will make you seem like a creep. But if you are flirting and talking to a woman and things are going great, don't wait for permission to get a number or a date, just do it.
