Copywriting: Sabotage the Predator: Beat the Bitch by Tess Stimson

(Thu Jul 29th, 2010, by Prasoon Kumar)

The author of Beat the Bitch, Tess Stimson, 41, discovered her husband's affair when they were on a family holiday in Cyprus. She didn't divulge what she knew though she gradually began to stay aloof in her everyday life, thus giving her husband all the more reason to justify the extra marital affair. Stimson also checked the phone bill of her husband, and she found out her husband had been calling the other woman every alternate day for six months. She just prayed the affair would end on its own instead of she having to do anything. She didn't want to confront her husband.

She Added To the Causes

Her struggle continued for about a year during which she had several flings herself so she could get her self confidence back (she wanted to feel needed). At the same time, her behavior made sure the home life for her husband became miserable, thereby giving him sufficient reason to justify his affair. She probably had it figured out that confrontation would make her husband go away to get some peace with the other woman (as had happened in her own case when she was having an affair with the same man when he was in his previous marriage). Tess Stimson now believes, if she wanted to make the marriage successful, she should have behaved just the opposite way.

Sabotage the Chances of the Other Woman

Tess Stimson enjoys a good relationship with her ex-husband and his wife, but she says it wasn't easy at all. She felt very angry with all that happened and could connect with them only when the anger subsided. The husband's affair can also be actively sabotaged by the wives, says she. You should change your plans often and pop up at his (the husband's) office just to see how he is doing. This would make things difficult for the other woman.  She also advocates hurting their husbands where it matters, she emptied the joint account on a £35,000 diamond earrings the day they were going to separate. So, in a way, she was on a strong footing financially at the time of separation. She knew jewelry was not considered in a divorce settlement (though now she says it should be).

Credit Crunch Is a Villain Too

Adultery is also on the rise due to credit crunch, as in the times of doom and gloom; people are looking to add some excitement to their lives.  Tess Stimson says four out of ten women are cheating on their partners. Even if you have been the loyal kind so far, chances of straying are still there. She further says monogamy is not natural and it's only a matter of time before the temptation gets the better of you.

Grass on the Other Side Is Greener

It doesn't matter whether you are feeling insecure or feel the grass is greener on the other side, all relationship problems seem to have only one (easy) solution – cheating (in your mind). Though chances are, it won't make you feel any better either.
