An E-book in Less than "7 Days" Not Possible! Or is it?
There's lots of talk these days about what it takes to write a good quality e-book. If you have never written an e-book before, you may think that it will take quite a long time to write it. This does not have to be true.
First of all, you need to make a commitment to yourself that you are going to actually follow through. This seems like the tough bit, but it's not all that bad. Use the tips below to help you decide on some of the most important factors. There are even some other solutions about if you find you cant complete the project yourself.
Here goes:
First, you've got to have something to write about. What's something you're good at, something you know lots about and could write about easily. Thats the best place to start.
Think of a problem some people might experience within this field. For example: if you're in direct sales you might write a book on overcoming objections. If you're into cooking, you might write about how not to burn the water, or whatever. The trick is to find a market for your e-book, before you start writing. A good place to find out potential problems is to search the forums of people interested in these topics. Find out what they're discussing and their worries. Then write a book to help them out.
Now, think of a good title. Something catchy that will identify a solution for someone. Something like: "7 ways to publish your own e-book" or "How to market your e-book from Noob to Pro in less 7 days" Choose a title that will make your e-book stand out from the rest of the pack.
As an additional helpful hint... There are even places like scriptlance and getafreelancer where you can pay someone to write an e-book for you. (or even write articles like this one! - no seriously, I wrote this one myself.)
The most important thing about your e-book is to solve a particular problem and package it within a simple system for the end consumer. E-books are written covering any subject you can think of.
Now start writing! Get the solution down on paper (just type it if you like, thats the best way). Describe the problem, and describe your experience with it, then present the solution. Add some additional value so your clients are well pleased with their purchase and back it up with your sincere thanks.
Package the book up in a .pdf format (you can get free .pdf conversion software from many freeware software download websites, you dont have to use adobe if you dont want to.)
You're done! Now get out there and tell everyone about it so they can benefit from your experience.
You see, when you are organized, and know exactly what you need to do, in what order, and during what part of the process, then it becomes much easier to write an e-book in 7 days or less.
There are 5 advantages to writing your own e-book:
1.You improve your profit margin to 100% i.e. you get to keep ALL the profits. Now that's compelling.
2. INSTANT CREDIBILITY: Write an e-book and you will soon see that you are treated differently by everyone you know: your customers, your subscribers, family, friends, workmates and even competitors. You can write an e-book to give yourself a tremendous market advantage.
3. Instantly deliver your product to your buyer, anywhere in the world, for free! Information products are a hot commodity. When you launch an e-book, you are literally birthing a brand new internet product, something that has a real value, and can impart needed information and skills to the consumer or the reader of the e-book. Dont be shy, someone out there could probably use your knowledge and experience right now. Get writing!
4. Automatic income. Plenty of people are into the internet marketing scene. Reasons vary, but most are attracted to it because you can set up systems where you could be selling products any time of the day and you don’t even need to be there to serve your customers. Now that's a sweet deal ;)
5. With e-book writing, you are selling information, not pages. This means that you don’t even have to write hundreds of pages and get them professionally published etc. You've just got to provide value. Of course, it's better if your product is professionally presented. In the end, it's the information that's held within that's most valuable.
