Countries all over the globe are exploring other options towards producing alternative energy sources after the crisis in Japan. Feisty options are in question whether how huge roles will the play for the countries future. The green industry is fundamentally reviews the way renewable energy would be administrated. Alternative energy production through the use of the refuse derived fuel process does not escape the scrutiny of the regulations under the said market. Even third world countries such as the Philippines are adapting the newer forms of energy generation at a much wider scale.

Major cities in the Philippines generate an estimate of 60,000 to 80,000 MSW per day. It is believed that these waste materials contain about 50%-60% of energy content that could be retrieved through the process of RDF. Numerous MRF's are being structured to operate on converting waste into a cleaner source of green energy. Energy that is produced from the refuse derived fuel process generates about 200 tons per day. The RDF technology produces pellets that requires about four or five tons of MSW each. The balance of energy through these facilities indicates that it is 10-15 times greater than traditional electricity generation.

The refuse derived fuel process has employed a specially designed boiler that prevents hazardous GHG's that is being dispersed into the atmosphere. It has a unique flu gas path that allows the suspension of co-firing of fuel in an automated rapping mechanism. Material solid waste containing high calorific value is fed into the boiler wherein extreme pressure and controlled amounts of oxygen are permitted. The quality of eco-friendly fuel which is the by-product of the RDF process depends on the feedstock contents inside the boiler. The greater the quality of feedstock, high enhanced volumes of fuel is generated.

MRF- waste to energy plants in municipal areas overcome environmental hazards brought forth by waste and WtE conversions. Refuse derive fuel process provides a source of renewable energy that is sustainable, cost efficient and clean. RDF process enables the production of cheap and efficient energy without the depletion of our natural resources. This process aims to suppress the use of fossil fuel and coal generated electricity. This essentially eliminates the risk relating to climate change affecting our world today. Reducing the factors that harms our environment enables our planet to recuperate back to health.
