The year 2011 is moving forward for cleaner energy production through renewable energy approach. Developed and developing nations are constructing WtE plants that would recycle, retrieve and treat waste for the conversion of cleaner alternative energy. The demand for sanitary landfills increases same as waste that that is being dumped into these sites. Pollution from augmenting waste materials and typical energy generating plants clouds the atmosphere therefore; trapping heat causing global warming. The refuse derived fuel process is a newer form that is applied in waste management to properly dispose waste and create a renewable source of electricity.

Significant issues are troubling the society today for the hazardous effects that it endows to man. Over the years, the progression that we have achieved through our technologies has caused our environments health to decline. It is surprising that the green industry gave birth to a selection of processes that aims to combat the growing cause and effects of global warming. The refuse derived fuel process is believed to be the key towards reducing our reliance to fossil fuel and coal generated electricity as well as to decline the amount of green house gases that is being emitted into the atmosphere.

Sanitary landfill sites are full of prospective feedstock that is necessary for the conversion of waste into energy. Materials that are commonly found in these sites are re-directed into material recovery facilities to be screened and processed as recyclables and pre-treated into green energy. The refuse derived fuel process thermally decomposes solid municipal waste and turns it into an eco-friendly type of fuel.  This fuel is then used to run electric generators thus producing clean and sustainable energy for the society. RDF process secures and makes use of hazardous gases eliminating emissions that damage our ozone layer.

The constant production of clean, sustainable and cost efficient energy through the RDF process significantly minimizes waste and pollution. Alternative energy sources do not deplete our environmental resources for it makes use of materials that is at the end of its life cycle. The refuse derived fuel process is a long term approach to solve climate change and high energy cost. With the years to come renewable energy will be the main source of energy not only for a whole nation but yet at a worldwide scale. The campaign for a carbon neutral approach is seeing significant signs as the year progresses by.  Cleaning up the planet from man-made waste saves the current society and future generation to relish the beauty of our environment.
