Business: Secrets to create a stunning Business PowerPoint Presentation:

(Mon Jan 25th, 2010, by ALI HASAN)

Once you have completed a business plan, now it’s time to make a PowerPoint presentation, which is a common occurrence in any business. There is a common thought of many audiences that business PowerPoint presentations are boring and time wasting. Delivering a successful presentation can do wonders to you and your business. You have to make a presentation that attracts your investors and lenders and can awaken the cognitive powers of your audience.
Following are some secrets of making an effective business PowerPoint presentation:
Make sure that ALL contents are readable: If you are making business PowerPoint presentation than make sure that all the contents in the presentation must be readable. Avoid adding unreadable letters because it is the most annoying thing in your presentation. Remember that a person sitting at the back can easily see your presentation. An ideal font size is 20 (Arial, Tahoma, Verdana, and Trebuchet).
Always have a title slide, an outline, and a closing slide: These four slides are the most important slides of your presentation. Your title slide must be that powerful that it attracts audiences towards you. It must contain: the title of your presentation, date of the presentation and your name. It’s better if you add your company logo in your slides. An outline slide contains a snapshot of your presentation. A closing slide usually contains “thank you”, to let your audiences know that the presentation has finished and now you are ready to give answers of their questions.
Do not write more than 7 or 8 lines in a slide: Remember that your aim is always to keep your audience awaken. Stuffing too much in one slide might make them asleep or bore and they will lose interest over your presentation. It is better to add another slide if you want to add more than 7 or 8 lines. Avoid adding lengthy sentences, use bullets instead.
Above are some basic tips on creating successful business PowerPoint presentations. If you follow them making a stunning business PowerPoint presentation is not a big task.
