I have been in the home-based internet marketing business for a little while now. In this short time, my learning curve has been tremendous. I have learned how to blog, write articles, advertise in classified ads, and email through safe-lists and solo ads. It has been a great experience and I absolutely love it. There has only been one aspect of this profession that has really been bothering me a lot.I certainly would like to discuss a little bit about this below. I am constantly hearing about a 98 to 99 percent failure rate in this profession by a lot of internet marketing professionals. Usually these people that cite the statistics are trying to sell some type of very expensive product!! It is very disconcerting to keep hearing this day in and day out. Many people will give up after investing quite a bit of money because they believe that their efforts will prove futile. This is not a good situation at all for anyone involved. I use the phrase "self-fulfilling prophecy" because it bodes well in these circumstances. If you call someone a "failure" at a very young age, he or her may believe that they are a failure so strongly that they do end up failing indeed. I am currently involved in three program which actually teach you how to market effectively. I am in EDC Diamond, The Little Guy Network, and Giblink. I believe in all of these programs and I did research before joining any of these. There are internet scams out there and I do want to say buyer beware! But please... give internet marketing a chance! Do not give up this fun, exciting, creative, interesting, growing profession! http://www.home-basedmoney.com
