This affiliate program is the first program I joined eversince I embarked on this internet online business. There are some mistakes I made and I would like to highlight to you so that you will not go through these mistakes and yet generate income.

When I subscribed to this website, they require us to have a webhosting domain. We are required to pay upfront either for a yr or 2 yrs. Well, I did pay and guess what? After a few days of me joining, they actually give out the domain FREE! I was rather disappointed at that because I had to pay Singapore $144 for that.

Then I followed the guide given to me and they advise me to post on Yahoo UK website with credit limit of 5 pounds a day and 0.20 pounds per click. I did that and 5 days later, I had a bill on my credit for Singapore dollars $544. I emailed to Yahoo and stopped all the advertising.

Then I emailed the manager of this affiliate program asking if I could have US$75 credit back to me for the free domain hosting. He agreed and credited me back into my affiliate account. He then advised me to pay less than 45cents for a click and increase my keywords for the Yahoo UK search. Anyway, after that huge bill, I have decided not to use Yahoo advertising anymore.

Then Yahoo emailed me back and told me they would refund me some money but for the rest, its nonrefundable. So I check my credit bill few days later and Yahoo has credited me back $310.

When this affiliate program guarantees you to earn money immediately or else they pay you $150 each day, it has terms and conditions, that is, you have to follow what they tell you to do, including advertising on Yahoo UK site. And they mentioned earn IMMEDIATELY, which means 1 click, they won't pay you too.

Initially, 1 lead gets me $1.50. Now 1 lead gets me $2. Their mininum amount to check out is $150. I'm almost there now.

After this incident, I realised I DO NOT NEED TO ADVERTISE ON YAHOO AT ALL! I can generate sales by using the free traffic sites that I have subscribed to. The list of sites are in my home page: http://sg.geocities.com/xinderette/affiliate.html
