Ever dream of owning the home of your dreams, taking an incredible vacation, sending your children to the best schools. Follow the next five easy steps to become debt free and find the success you are looking for:
First step: Take a good look in the mirror. What do you see? You see a person who is tired of the daily grind and going no where anytime soon. The probability is if you are drowning in credit card debt you are working a full time and a part-time job just to make ends meet. This may not be enough. Realize you may be in danger here, sometimes debt is not simply debt, it may be a sickness you are suffering from as well. So what do you do when you are sick? You seek help. Seek help in places where it is not going to cost you too much money, remember the reason you are in debt in the first place, lack of money. There are honest people in the debt management business who will be glad to help out without gouging your eyes out. Make sure to do your homework and shop around, it is worth your time.
Second step: After you found the help you were looking for, cut up all your credit cards and close all your credit accounts out. This will keep you from ever spending another dime on the credit cards you know own. Cut up and throw away all correspondence having to do with credit card offers. I know you are tempted, it is a sickness, but you will begin to feel better after you start practicing step number two.
Third step: Create a budget. Do not go out to dinner four times a month, one time will do it and your spouse will love you for it. Cut out all unnecessary purchases. Stay away from infomercials selling you junk. Eat healthier, it costs less. In other words do whatever it is necessary to spend less without sacrificing your basic needs.
Fouth Step: Open up a bank account for the sole purpose of paying back your debt. Do not use this money unless you encounter a real emergency. Make belief this money does not exist until you receive an offer you cannot refuse from your creditors to settle out an account.
Fifth Step: Do not ever again in your life sing up for another credit card unless you know this time around you will manage it better. Remember credit card usage is a sickness and you will spend the rest of your life recovering from it.
I hope these five steps will help you and your family find the financial freedom you are looking for, you deserve it.
