Americans who laugh at Al Gore and make statements about global warming like Rick Perry, the governor of Texas, are not stupid; they're simply bought-and-paid-for corporate puppets.

Not in a hundred years could Osama bin Laden do the damage to our country and world that the Rick Perry types do in just a few short years. This pithy excuse for a human knows that Lake Powell and Lake Meade, just to mention a few, are drying up. Even their source, the Colorado River, is drying up. And due to overuse and poor management, it flows into Mexico as only a trickle leaving what was once rich estuarine marshland essentially a desiccated river bed. Who cares about Mexico? Certainly not the people of the United States, but they're going to care when water costs more than gas. And talk about wars. The Canadians had better be prepared, because thirsty Americans will do to them what oil-hungry Americans are doing to the Iraqis.

If everyone who voted to elect and reelect George W. Bush were rounded up and hung, it would serve a far greater purpose than finding a cure for AIDS and cancer. It would be a monumental step forward in saving our country and our planet. Giving these people a brain was a waste when just a spinal cord would have sufficed. If you think that's a drastic measure, let Mother Nature turn the water off, and you'll see bodies being piled up and burnt like just so much trash, and not all of them will be dead.
